Qigong (“chee gung”) is the art and skill of cultivating life energy for health, longevity and spiritual attainment. In this ongoing class, we will learn and explore various still and moving qigong practices that are easy to learn and rapidly effective. These practices combine body, breath and mind to produce a relaxed openness, whole body integration and stillness and clarity of mind that is the foundation for internal energy cultivation. This class welcomes people of all physical types, abilities and dispositions.

The powers that witches call upon are anything but supernatural. Through training we can learn to see beyond the limits of everyday reality, and begin to weave our own threads into the Pattern; to make magick. In this 5 week course we will open ourselves in trance and experience the 5 elemental powers of the magickal arts: Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit, and discover how this ancient model can connect us to the land on which we live, and also to the deepest levels of ourselves. We will experience each of the elements in turn and see how they unfold in our lives, bringing us closer to balance, strength, and alignment to our power.

Participants may either take the entire course, which is built in layers upon the work done in previous sessions, or may choose which elements they wish to experience making this a great opportunity for both newbies and experienced practitioners to learn more about this powerful system of Western Magic.
